Title:
Advancement of the Non-Institutional Service Provision in Caucasus

Vulnerable refugee/IDP and non-refugee elderly/disabled persons

Activities:
This project is the continuation of the project Introduction to and Execution of Non-Institutional Service Provision Training Module by the Community-Based Organizations of Caucasus implemented by Mission Armenia, Domus Mobilis and Azerbaijani Women and Development Centre NGOs in October 2001- July 2002. Within the implementation of the previous project the Mission Armenia approach of non-institutional community-based service provision was introduced to the aforementioned NGOs in Georgia and Azerbaijan. It was piloted through setting up and operations of a Social Resource Center per country.

This project aims at advancing the previous one. A new partner organization, Derbent's Center of Psycho-Social Rehabilitation and Culture of the World has been provided with an opportunity of receiving comprehensive knowledge about the pervious and this Projects to be able to launch a similar Project in Dagestan. With this purpose the partner organizations have participated in training sessions conducted by Mission Armenia. The knowledge transferred to the partners will promote the provision of non-institutional social and health care services to their beneficiaries.
